Photo shooting day

A good product pic can help to capture your customers. I m not a pro, but there is something I can do.
Here is the set up I did for today shot. A nikon 40Dx, ikea lamp and a tripod. However, it was so frustrated when I have to do it alone and got to shoot self portrait with products on me. I have no idea how many time I run back and forward for just checking my photos right.

This Collar is my favorite, i keep posing when i do the shoot.

I tried with my boyfriend's glasses on, he has super short sight, i couldn't get focus, and my eyes look so small after!

I went to an exhibition opening 2 days ago with my artist friends. One of them talked about my latest etsy shop. He said "your shop is looking cool! I love your design, it will be cooler if you add more items such as blanket + cushion in a set, iPhone and iPad case?" yeah, I can tell you that I m working out an iPad case today.

However, I found this not as easy as I thought it was. I took me few hrs to do so. The knitted piece have been knitted and washed the day before. I started to sandwich them in layers of knitted piece+non-woven(this can give more protection to iPad)+ lining. I faced a big problem afterward, since the layers are too thick that it can't fit in the sewing machine needle part, it means that I must have to do my own stitches to get the sharp. Then, I need to hand crochet a button(softer as normal button, so that it won't break the iPad )
It is more to do, I am targeting to make few more today.

I could't believe this crochet collar would take me such long to finish! It almost took me full day to get it done! However, I am very happy with the result. It looks exactly the victorian style I have been planning for.

Hand crocheted necklace in Black

It took me half day to finish this little piece from design to handmade. It was a bit too dark at the beginning, i was thinking if there were anything can give it a highlight. Then i found a cone of lurex on my shelf. It looks gorgeous with the twist of purple lurex. How do u think?
